Hi there, I’m Cate

I am an Elementary Education major at Auburn University. I am currently in my first semester of the program and will hopefully be graduating in May of 2022. I completed CTRD 3000 which is a class focused on beginning literature instruction. We focused on effective phonics programs, how to build sight word vocabulary, letterbox lessons, ways children's reading can be supported outside of the classroom, and much more. I created this website to help parents, specifically, with supporting their child's literacy development. I hope this website is helpful and informative. Please feel free to contact me regarding any questions or concerns.
